Artwork Guidelines

Hey there — here are our top tips for getting your artwork ready for your custom boxes:

1. Colour Mode

Use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) or Pantone spot colours for your artwork.

Don’t use RGB (Red, Green, Blue) — that’s for screens, not print.

2. Fonts & Text

Make sure your font size is at least 9 pt — smaller than that might look fine on screen, but not so hot when it’s printed.

Fancy cursive or super decorative fonts can lose their clarity once printed. Stick to something clean and legible.

3. Resolution

Your artwork should be 300 DPI (dots per inch) — this keeps everything sharp and avoids any pixelation.

If you go lower, you risk blurry or soft looking prints.

4. File Formats

Submit your art as PDF, TIFF, or EPS — these are print ready and preserve quality.

If you’ve got photos or raster graphics, you can send JPEG or PNG, but make sure they’re 300 DPI too.

5. File Organisation

Use Separate Layers: One for your artwork, one for the dieline, etc.

Label Things Clearly: Name your layers or files so nothing gets mixed up in the print process.
